Natalia Sultanova has been exhibiting her works in Russia and abroad since 1995. She uses her art, not only to reflect the world, but to create another one. Her response to the cold and dampness of St. Petersburg is to use vivid colours, which encourage a cheerful impression of the world. Sultanova’s bold, bright, colourful compositions display a lightness and free manner that nods to the Impressionists. Her main interest is landscapes, featuring an element of the surreal and mysterious.
